Meet Michelle Hutson-Crawford, M.S.
Founder & CEO, Magnolia Education
“Teaching isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. I help educators walk boldly in that calling and leave footprints that last”
Michelle Hutson-Crawford has spent more than two decades walking alongside early childhood educators—helping them recognize their strengths, deepen their practice, and create learning environments where both children and adults can thrive. A proud Mississippi native shaped by public schools, Michelle earned her degree and Master’s in Child and Family Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and continues to invest in her own growth through advanced leadership study in early childhood education.
Now based in Austin with her partner and their much-loved dog, Michelle brings a joyful, down-to-earth, and strengths-based approach to coaching, mentoring, and professional learning. Her work is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and the belief that educators deserve support that honors both their expertise and their whole selves.
When she’s not working with educators, Michelle can usually be found reading, baking something comforting, volunteering, or soaking up meaningful moments with friends and family.
Magnolia Education grew from Michelle’s deep commitment to this field and her belief that when educators are supported well, entire communities flourish.

Why Magnolia Education Exists
Child care providers wear many hats – business owner, chef, substitute teacher, nurse, parent liaison, mentor, and more. With so many responsibilities, there simply aren't enough hours in the day to do it all. That's where Magnolia Education comes in.
Studies show that when teachers receive targeted coaching and professional development, children benefit from improved outcomes in areas such as language, social-emotional skills, and cognitive development. High-quality teacher-child interactions are proven to foster better learning environments and prepare children for future academic success.
By partnering with us, you can lighten your load while making an investment in your educators – giving them the tools, training, and ongoing support they need to create meaningful, impactful experiences that drive high-quality outcomes for children. Together, we’ll nurture every child’s limitless potential.
Our Commitment
At Magnolia Education, we understand that investing in educators is the key to unlocking endless possibilities for children. Our commitment is to provide educators with the tools and support they need to inspire, guide, and nurture young minds.
